Prof. Dr. Michael Boutros is a trained biochemist and coordinator of the ACHILLEUS project. He obtained his PhD from the European Molecular Biology Laboratory (EMBL) in Heidelberg, followed by a MPA at the Kennedy School of Harvard University. His research interests include the systematic analysis of signaling pathways involved in development and tumorigenesis. Currently, he is head of the Division of Signaling and Functional Genomics at German Cancer Research Center (DKFZ) and Dean of the Medical Faculty at Heidelberg University.
In the newly founded start-up, Prof. Boutros will serve as a Scientific Advisor.
