Prof. Dr. Florian Heigwer is a trained biotechnologist. He holds a PhD in Bioinformatics, and Computational Biology from Heidelberg University and is appointed professor at the University of Applied Sciences in Bingen. Additionally, he works as a Data Scientist at the German Cancer Research Center (DKFZ) where he is currently driving forward the project ACHILLEUS.
In the planned spin-off, he is playing an active founder role as Chief Scientific Officer.
